The Ministry of Economy presented the plan for mine action in Ukraine at GLOBSEC-2023 International Security Forum Humanitarian demining is a cornerstone of Ukraine’s security and economic recovery. Currently, the Government is working on a comprehensive mine action strategy, the main goal of which is to improve people’s quality of life and to demine the territories quickly and effectively. In particular, the Government Humanitarian Demining Center has been established, which, under the coordination of First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko, will ensure the coordination of the efforts of all actors in the field of humanitarian demining and attract international assistance.
