The European Union has finally approved the Plan for the Ukraine Facility – Ukraine will receive EUR 1.89 billion in pre-financing
On Tuesday, 14 May, the EU Council approved the Plan for the Ukraine Facility. The Implementation Decision paves the way for the signing of the relevant financing documents under the programme, as well as the further implementation of the Ukraine Facility in 2024-2027. Approval of the Plan will also allow the European Commission to provide Ukraine with up to EUR 1.89 billion in pre-emptive unconditional funding. This tranche is expected after Ukraine signs the Framework Agreement and its ratification by the Verkhovna Rada.

Ukraine and Argentina to hold a meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation for the first time in 18 years
A significant impetus to the development of bilateral economic cooperation and trade should be provided by the revitalisation of the Joint Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Argentine Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, which last held its last meeting almost 18 years ago. It will also be a good opportunity to discuss the possible participation of Argentine companies in projects to restore infrastructure and rebuild Ukraine after the war.

eOselia: 10,000 Ukrainian families take out housing loans
10,000 Ukrainian families have received loans for the purchase of housing under the eOselia programme worth almost UAH 16 billion since the programme's launch. About 30% of them were for the first-time housing purchase. This was stated by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy.

Ukraine and Argentina deepen cooperation in defence, energy and infrastructure sectors, – Yuliia Svyrydenko
Ukraine and Argentina are discussing the possibility of deepening cooperation in a number of strategic areas, including defence, as well as helping our country restore energy and civilian infrastructure damaged by russian missile attacks. This was discussed during the meeting of the Ukrainian delegation headed by the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Religions of Argentina Diana Mondino.
