    Humanitarian demining is a new niche that can be filled by both Ukrainian businesses and international partners: Yuliia Svyrydenko One of the most important processes in humanitarian demining in Ukraine is the coordination of all participants in this process and measures aimed at developing this area in Ukraine. Rapid demining is a matter of human safety, business development and economic recovery. In addition, this is a new niche that can be actively developed, and the Government is already taking the necessary steps in this regard.
  • Ministry of Economy has invited local communities to cooperate on the new version of the Law on Public Procurement Ministry of Economy is drafting a new version of the Law on Public Procurement, which will allow participants to make it more efficient, and invites local governments to cooperate. This was stated by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Nadiia Bihun during consultations on solving problematic issues in the field of public procurement with the participation of local governments.

    Humanitarian demining is the first step in Ukraine's reconstruction: Yuliia Svyrydenko Clearance of land contaminated by explosive objects is a top priority for the Government and a priority step in Ukraine’s reconstruction. This was emphasised by First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko during an online meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia Davor Božinović. The event was attended by Deputy Minister Ihor Bezkaravainyi and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Croatia.
  • Government establishes Interagency Working Group on development of National Energy and Climate Plan The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has set up an Interagency Working Group (IWG) to prepare proposals and recommendations for the development of the National Energy and Climate Plan, chaired by Yulia Svyrydenko, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine. It also includes representatives of the President’s Office, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, and the Ministry of Infrastructure.
  • On the way to industrial visa-free regime: Government brings the Technical Machinery Safety Regulation in line with EU standards The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a Resolution bringing the Technical Machinery Safety Regulation in line with EU norms. The document harmonises the content, structure, sequence and numbering of its provisions and annexes with the content, structure, sequence and numbering of the EU Directive and its annexes.
