Free Trade Agreement with Canada will ensure broad involvement of Canadian business in Ukraine’s recovery, - Yuliia Svyrydenko In the near future, the Canadian Parliament is expected to ratify the updated Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Canada. To make the most of the new opportunities for private business in both countries, early next year, a Canadian business mission will arrive in Ukraine with concrete proposals for investment in Ukraine’s economy and post-war recovery. This was agreed by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine, and Mary Ng, Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development of Canada, during a video conversation.

Army of Recovery: UAH 462 million earned by Ukrainians involved in community service The Army of Recovery project, since its inception, has involved over 70,000 unemployed individuals in community service, allowing them to earn UAH 462 million. IFC will study investment projects submitted by the Ministry of Economy for possible financing, – Yuliia Svyrydenko The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is considering the possibility of financing investment projects submitted by the Ministry of Economy. USAID will contribute to attracting major US banks to investment projects in Ukraine, – Yuliia Svyrydenko The US Agency for International Development (USAID) will support small and medium-sized businesses, expand grant programmes for entrepreneurs, including businesses in the de-occupied territories, and continue export support programmes. The fifth round of consultations with the EU on the preparation of the Ukraine Facility Plan has been completed On Tuesday, 14 November, the fifth round of consultations with the European Union delegation on the preparation of the Ukraine Facility Plan for 2024-2027 was completed. The two-day consultations at the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine were also attended by representatives of relevant ministries and other government agencies involved in the preparation.
