The U.S. Government to support Ukraine in restoring the insurance market in the country – Yuliia Svyrydenko War risk insurance plays a crucial role in unblocking the flow of private investment needed to support Ukraine’s economy in wartime. The U.S. Government’s support in creating an effective market for private investment insurance against war risks in Ukraine and the conditions necessary for American businesses to operate in the Ukrainian market were discussed during an online meeting on war risk insurance in Ukraine with the participation of First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo.

Grants for veterans: the first participants to receive UAH 6.8 million for the implementation of business ideas On 6 July, the results of the support program for veteran businesses were announced in Ukraine. 19 defenders who took part in the Russian-Ukrainian war and their spouses will receive funds for the creation or development of their businesses.

Issues related to the promotion of investments in the Ukrainian economy and financial support for business were discussed by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine – Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka with Government Plenipotentiary for Polish-Ukrainian Development Cooperation Jadwiga Emilewicz.

eOselia: Ukrainians can take a mortgage loan under the program at 7% effective 1 August The number of Ukrainians who can get housing under the eOselia affordable mortgage lending program has been increasing since 1 August. War veterans, combatants and people who do not have their own home can apply for a loan at 7%. All other categories of borrowers remain in the program too. The relevant decision was adopted at the Government meeting on 4 July 2023.

Year of eRobota operation: UAH 4 billion invested by the state in business development through grants Over the year of the Government’s eRobota grant program, the state has invested UAH 4 billion in business development.
