The first domestic machine to prepare soil for demining will clear the lands of the Kharkiv oblast

The first machine for preparing soil for demining, developed and produced in Ukraine, was placed at the disposal of the State Emergency Service. The presentation of the machine took place on October 27, 2023 at the base of the Interregional Center for Humanitarian Demining and Rapid Response of the State Emergency Service. Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, handed over the equipment, purchased with the funds of the regional budget of the Kharkiv oblast, to sappers.
As it was mentioned during the presentation, the machine for preparing soil for demining, created by Kharkiv manufacturers, is the first certified domestic machine of this type. It is easy to use, maintain and repair, it is relatively inexpensive – UAH 5 million 600 thousand. In addition, operators will not have problems with spare parts.
In the near future, the equipment received by sappers will work in the fields. And by the end of November, another machine for soil preparation, purchased with funds from the regional budget, will arrive at the Interregional Center for Humanitarian Demining and Rapid Response of the State Emergency Service.
“I congratulate the Kharkiv manufacturers who created the first domestic machine for preparing soil for demining and successfully passed certification. This is a good example for all domestic inventors and manufacturers. An example of the fact that the interaction of state, local authorities, manufacturers gives a quick result. An example of the fact that the state is interested in the development and scaling of the production of Ukrainian machinery and equipment for demining. We will in every possible way contribute to such development, as well as localization of the production of equipment of foreign models on the basis of Ukrainian enterprises,” Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, noted.
We will remind that this week the Ministry of Economy also held a meeting with the participation of Deputy Ministers of Economy Ihor Bezkaravainyi and Nadiia Bihun, representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the State Transport Special Service, the Federation of Employers of Ukraine and domestic manufacturers, during which the issue of procurement of machinery and equipment of Ukrainian production for the needs of the State Transport Special Service was discussed.
