558 Relocated Enterprises Have Already Resumed Work in Safe Regions of the Country
26.09.2022 | 18:29 | Section for Public and Mass Media RelationsThe Ministry of Economy continues the Business Relocation program - any business, regardless of size, may use it. To do this, you need to leave an application on Relocate.Prozorro.Sale online platform. After processing the application, the business will be offered a comprehensive package of state support.
Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Tetiana Berezhna told about this on the air of the national telethon.
“Since the beginning of the program, 1,846 applications have already been registered, 745 enterprises have already moved to safer regions, and 558 have resumed work in new locations. For 286 enterprises, the search for a suitable location or method of transportation is currently underway,” Tetiana Berezhna said.
The largest number of businesses were relocated from the Kharkiv Oblast - 193 enterprises, the Kyiv Oblast – 180, the Donetsk Oblast - 106, the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast - 27, the Zaporizhia Oblast - 26.
Most often, companies move to the Lviv Oblast (25%), the Zakarpattia Oblast (16%), Chernivtsi Oblast (11%), Ternopil Oblast (8%), Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (7%) and Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast (7%).
“Saving every workplace, ensuring the continuous operation of business is a very important task of the state. After all, this is exactly what brings Ukraine closer to victory. We are consolidating all efforts so that this government program could continue,” Deputy Minister added.
Assistance from the state consists in selecting a location for a business in a safe area, assistance with transportation to a new location, resettlement of employees and finding new employees, support in restoring logistics, purchasing raw materials, and finding sales markets.
We should also note that along with the good news about the de-occupation of Ukrainian territories, there is a tendency for businesses to return to their previous places of work. Thus, 609 enterprises refused their previously submitted applications for relocation, and 37 enterprises returned to their previous place of business.
