Made in Ukraine: Farmers receive first compensation for the purchased agricultural machinery by Ukrainian producers

The first three agricultural enterprises received 25% compensation for the cost of the purchased agricultural machinery and equipment by Ukrainian manufacturers. The total amount of compensation is UAH 220,000. This was announced by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy.
"The programme of partial compensation to farmers for the cost of purchased Ukrainian agricultural machinery is one of the components of support for local producers under the Made in Ukraine policy. It has enabled farmers to purchase more modern machinery at lower costs and increase their productivity and competitiveness in the market. What is important, by doing so, we are contributing to the growth of demand for Ukrainian agricultural machinery and aim to stimulate an increase in its production. We have seen this effect in previous years of the programme. This year, we have budgeted UAH 1 billion for compensation for the purchase of Ukrainian agricultural machinery," Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy, noted.
The first three agricultural companies to receive compensation operate in Dnipropetrovsk, Ternopil and Cherkasy oblasts. The total value of the agricultural machinery they purchased is UAH 880,000. In particular, agricultural companies bought a tractor semi-trailer manufactured by SPD PETROV LLC, a field roller from SERVIS-TRAKTOR LLC, a rotary hinged hydraulic harrow manufactured by AGRO PROM SFERA LLC.
To receive 25% compensation for the cost of purchased machinery or equipment, an agricultural producer must choose a supplier from the list on the Ministry of Economy's website, purchase the necessary machinery and submit an application and supporting documents to an authorised bank. As of today, the List of Domestic Machinery and Equipment for the Agricultural Sector, the cost of which is partially compensated by budgetary funds, includes 6,691 nomenclature items of machinery and equipment from 64 Ukrainian manufacturers. The List is constantly updated in accordance with applications received by the Ministry. The programme involves 31 banks.

Government approves draft law on ratification of the Framework Agreement for obtaining soft loans worth USD 2.1 billion from the Korean Economic Development Cooperation Fund
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the Draft Law of Ukraine On Ratification of the Framework Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Korea on Loans from the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) for 2024-2029. The adoption of this bill is necessary for the entry into force of the Framework Agreement on EDCF Loans for 2024-2029 in the amount of USD 2.1 billion, signed on 19 April 2024 in Washington, DC. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine endorsed the decision at its session on 4 June 2024.
