The European Union is Ukraine's main trading partner. According to the results of 2023, the share of trade in goods with the EU amounted to 56.0% of the total trade of Ukraine. Thus, in January-October 2024 it amounted 54.1%, while in the same period of 2023 – 56.3%

Turnover 10-2024: $ 49.8 billion (↑7.9%).
Exports 2023: $ 23.4 billion (↓16.1%):
Cereals – 19.6% (↓2.1%);
Fats and oils – 12.7% (↓2.5%);
Ferrous metals – 9.2% (↓22.3%);
Oil seeds and fruits – 8.3% (↓33.2%);
Ores and slags – 7.1% (↓30.1%);
Electric machines – 6.4% (↓35.0%);
Wood and articles of wood – 5.3% (↓22.9%);
Residues and waste from the food industries – 3.4% (↑55.8%).
10-2024: $ 20.9 billion (↑6.5%):
Cereals – 15.5% (↓14.0%);
Fats and oils – 13.3% (↑19.1%);
Oil seeds and fruits – 9.8% (↑29.6%);
Electric machines – 8.5% (↑28.5%);
Ferrous metals – 8.5% (↓5.8%);
Ores and slags – 6.7% (↓2.8%);

Furniture – 3.3% (↑14.1%).
Imports 2023: $ 32.5 billion (↑20.5%):
Energy materials – 20.4% (↑2.4%);
Ground transport facilities excluding railway – 11.3% (↑25.2%);
Nuclear reactors, boilers, machines – 8.2% (↑38.1%);
Electric machines – 5.0% (↑9.7%);
Plastics and polymeric materials – 4.8% (↑15.5%);
Pharmaceutical products – 4.7% (↑20.0%);
Fertilisers – 2.1% (↑62.4%);
Other chemical products - 2.0% (↓2.5%).
10-2024: $ 28.9 billion (↑9.0%):
Energy materials – 17.9% (↓6.8%);
Ground transport facilities excluding railway – 10.4% (↑2.0%);
Nuclear reactors, boilers, machines – 9.1% (↑18.4%);
Electric machines – 5.4% (↑18.5%);
Pharmaceutical products – 4.8% (↑15.3%);
Plastics and polymeric materials – 4.5% (↓0.5%);
Other chemical products – 2.0% (↑0.5%);
Fertilizers – 1.9% (↓16.7%).
Balance 2023: - $ 9.1 billion.
