In November, Farmers Gained Access to 25,000 Hectares Cleared of Mines and Shells – Yuliia Svyrydenko

Since the beginning of the year, as part of the priority demining programme for agricultural land, pyrotechnic teams have surveyed over 309,000 hectares of farmland.
“In November, our sappers surpassed the milestone of 300,000 hectares of farmland surveyed since the start of the year. Over 280,000 hectares have already been handed over for agricultural use. Remarkable efforts have been made by sappers in the liberated lands of the Kherson region. Since the beginning of the year, they have surveyed over 250,000 hectares in the region, of which nearly 245,000 hectares are now available for farmers,” stated Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy
Areas Surveyed by Region:
Kherson Region: 20.7 thou hectares in November, 251.1 thou hectares since the beginning of the year;
Mykolaiv Region: 4.4 thou hectares in November, 20.9 thou hectares since the beginning of the year;
Kharkiv Region: 1 thou hectares in November, 22.5 thou hectares since the beginning of the year.
