The U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) will help the government of Ukraine attract public and private investments for the reconstruction of the country. The corresponding memorandum was signed in Washington by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, USAID Administrator Samantha Power and DFC Chief Executive Officer Scott Nathan. -

Kyiv has prepared a plan to strengthen sanctions against russia and calls on allies to speed up the development of a legal framework and practical tools for using confiscated russian assets abroad for the needs of our state’s recovery. This was discussed during another briefing on sanctions policy at the Office of the President of Ukraine for the heads of diplomatic missions of the EU states and the EU Delegation to Ukraine, dedicated to the priority issues of the sanctions policy towards russia, with the participation of First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko and advisors to the Head of the Office of the President Vladyslav Vlasiuk and Daria Zarivna.
