On July 20, Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy, met with the World Bank delegation headed by Antonella Bassani, Vice President for the Europe and Central Asia (ECA) region. The Ministry of Economy and the World Bank are stepping up their cooperation to mobilise funding from donors and international financial institutions for the rapid recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine. -

The Government of Ukraine is calling on its Polish counterparts to lift the ban on imports of domestic agricultural products, and on the EU to create a compensation mechanism for Ukrainian farmers affected by export restrictions. Ukraine and Japan discussed options for providing additional assistance in humanitarian demining, preparing public-private partnership projects, implementing grant programmes for small and medium-sized businesses, and restoring the Ukrainian economy. Japanese partners are actively involved in these efforts. This was discussed during a meeting between First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko and President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Akihiko Tanaka and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Matsuda Kuninori.
