The Government looks forward to foreign private investment in Ukraine’s recovery. This was stated by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, at a meeting with representatives of German companies and members of the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Ministers of Economy of Ukraine Volodymyr Kuzio, Oleksii Sobolev, Ihor Fomenko and Taras Kachka. -

On Friday, March 8, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the text of the Memorandum of Understanding between Ukraine and the European Union regarding bridge financing under the Ukraine Facility programme, as well as the corresponding loan agreement. After the signing of the documents, which is scheduled for March 11, Ukraine will be able to receive EUR 6 billion to ensure the current costs of the state budget until the full launch of the programme. -

The Government is launching a programme of 25% compensation for the cost of Ukrainian-made agricultural machinery. The corresponding decision was adopted at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on March 8, 2024. -

Strengthening women’s leadership is one of the important components of the mission of the Ministry of Economy. They make an invaluable contribution to our struggle: they create jobs, pay taxes, and thus ensure our defence. They are ordinary Ukrainian women who do extraordinary things. This opinion was expressed by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, during the ‘Women’s Lives in Ukraine during the War’ event organised by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on 7 March. -

More than 14,000 entrepreneurs have received grants to start or develop their businesses under the Government’s eRobota project. In total, the state has invested UAH 7.1 billion in entrepreneurship through grants since the start of the project. This was announced by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
