719 of them want to create their own processing enterprises

Every day, more and more Ukrainians willing to receive grants for the creation and development of their businesses join the eRobota program. To date, more than 8,500 applications have already been received, most of them for micro-grants. At the same time, 719 applicants want to create their own processing enterprises.

Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine, told about this on the air of a joint national telethon.

“Processing enterprises and their development provide for co-financing. This suggests that people are not only willing to start their own businesses but are also ready to co-finance such projects with the state. The same concerns gardens and greenhouses,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko.

Currently, more than 52 million Ukrainian hryvnias are allocated to grant applications. The main goal of the eRobota program is to create new jobs for Ukrainians and activate entrepreneurship in a difficult time for the country. These funds will be refunded through the payment of taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels, which is very important for the development of the Ukrainian economy now.

Yuliia Svyrydenko also reminded that the Government provided incentives for the operation of enterprises that already have well-established work processes, staff and stable sales markets. Including:

  • an opportunity for entrepreneurs who have an export-oriented business to travel abroad for a period of up to 7 days at the employer’s request through the Diia Portal. This will make it possible to attend international events, enter into contracts and return to Ukraine to continue working;
  • assistance in the relocation of enterprises from the war zone. More than 700 businesses have been transferred so far, while applications are still coming in;
  • large-scale deregulation, in the framework of which more than 500 permits were transferred to the declarative principle. Their number will grow in the future.

 “As the Government, we should do everything we can to simplify the rules for businesses, eliminate unnecessary procedures and provide opportunities to work,” Yuliia Svyrydenko emphasized.

We remind you that last week, banks issued UAH 1.2 billion of affordable loans to entrepreneurs. Since the beginning of the “Affordable loans 5-7-9” program, businesses have received 46,400 loans for a total of UAH 135.9 billion.

The eRobota Project was launched by the Ministry of Economy together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the State Employment Service and Oschadbank to support Ukrainians willing to start their own business and promote entrepreneurship in a difficult time for the economy.
