In April 2024, Export Credit Agency insured bank loans of four exporters in the amount of UAH 46 million, thereby supporting the execution of contracts worth UAH 1.07 billion. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine - Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka.
“Support and development of processing enterprises that export their products to other countries of the world is one of the priorities of the Made in Ukraine state policy. And the efforts of the Government and international partners are yielding results. Last month, the volume of exports of Ukrainian goods abroad set an all-time record since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine and reached pre-war levels. We will continue to do everything possible so that the business increases production volumes, creates new jobs and attracts investments in the real sector of the economy,” Taras Kachka emphasized.
Since the beginning of the year, 18 exporters insured by ECA have provided export revenue of UAH 1.7 billion. One hryvnia of ECA insurance liability based on the results of four months is converted into 12.4 hryvnias of supported exports.
In April, Ukrgasbank (the amount of credit agreements 0 UAH 27 million, the volume of supported exports - UAH 1.02 billion) and Oschadbank (UAH 19 million and UAH 45.7 million, respectively) insured their exporter clients in ECA.
Enterprises located in Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk and Chernivtsi Oblasts and in the city of Kyiv export their products to Slovakia (for UAH 504.2 million), Estonia (UAH 252.1 million), Poland (UAH 252.1 million), Romania (UAH 45.69 million), to the territory of the Benelux countries (UAH 12.7 million) and to France (UAH 4.65 million). The goods they produce and sell abroad are wood and wood products, as well as ferrous metal products.
Since the launch of the exporter support programme initiated by the Ministry of Economy in 2022, which ECA implements together with partner banks, the amount of exports supported by the agency amounted to UAH 12.72 billion.
