Companies that manufacture drones will have an opportunity to receive a grant from the state in the amount of 80% of the cost of the submitted project. The preferential regime for granting funds to such manufacturers will be valid throughout the entire controlled territory of Ukraine. The Government supported the decision at a meeting on 3 May 2024. -

In each of the priority sectors, we have specific projects that we are ready to offer to foreign investors and we do so consistently. We are already seeing not just interest, but real investments. According to the National Bank, foreign investors injected USD 4.25 billion into Ukraine's economy last year. This shows that despite the war, it is possible to make money and develop successful businesses in Ukraine. This was stated by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy –Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, in her speech at Kyiv Investment Day on May 1. -

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and Kyiv School of Economics organized the Business Development as the Main Driver of Ukraine’s Economic Recovery roundtable discussion on financing instruments for the development of Ukrainian business. During the event, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Volodymyr Kuzyo spoke about new opportunities to attract investment under the Ukraine Investment Framework, which had been established under the Ukraine Facility programme. -

In April, Ukraine exported a record volume of products. According to Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, last month’s exports totalled more than 13 million tonnes, surpassing the figures for February 2022. In monetary terms, exports reached USD 3.3 billion in April. -

Since the launch of the "Own Business" programme, more than 16,000 Ukrainians have already become winners and will receive UAH 3.8 billion to start or develop their businesses. The winners of this year's seventh wave of the programme are 526 Ukrainians who will receive UAH 127 million to develop their businesses. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Tetyana Berezhna.
