Entrepreneurs in Bukovyna may count on at least UAH 800 million of state support under the Made in Ukraine business support programme. In total, the budget allocates UAH 45 billion to support entrepreneurs this year. Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, said this during her speech at a meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine in Chernivtsi. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk and Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal were also present at the event. -

As of 1 April 2024, Export Credit Agency (ECA) supported Ukrainian exports for the amount of UAH 627 million. Domestic exporters, in cooperation with ECA, attracted UAH 99.8 million in financing from partner banks during this period. This was announced by Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Representative of Ukraine. -

The Government welcomes the ratification of Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement (CUFTA) by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The agreement between the two countries will contribute to the further development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, allow domestic producers to benefit from the liberalisation of Canadian goods markets and open up opportunities for Ukrainian business to expand their sales markets, as well as to develop and modernise their own production. This was stated by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine. -

Almost 15,000 entrepreneurs received grants to start or develop a business under the Government’s eRobota project. In general, the state has invested UAH 7.3 billion in entrepreneurship through grants since the start of the project. This was reported by First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko. -

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), a part of the UN system, have signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed on 10 April 2024 in the presence of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy by First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko and IOM Director General Amy Pope.
