About 150 businessmen and governmental representatives will participate in the U.S.-Ukraine Business-Forum which will take place on July 13^th in Washington. Ukrainian Government contemplates to present a new team of reformers and to establish direct relations with the key investors.

Ukrainian delegation, headed by the Prime-Minister of Ukraine, will report to the American businessmen and investors about reforms and opportunities emerging in Ukraine now. More detailed operation with potential investors will be performed as early as immediately after the Forum.

“Investor is to meet many times with partners to be, to make certain that the country policy in certain sphere is not changed before each meeting, to get acquainted with managing staff of an enterprise, Government etc.”,  Aivaras Abromavičius, the Minister of economic development and trade of Ukraine, told.

He also added that the best and main counselors of Ukraine are those investors who are already working at out market. They will be the first who feel a significant improvement of business environment and invite their colleagues.

Business-Forum is expected to gather about 150 business representatives and interested parties. Speakers and moderators will be some of the world's most famous investors: George Soros, David Rubenstein (NCH, OPIC) and others.

The Forum, first of all, will focus on the possibilities of business development in Ukraine.

“Except standard sectors, such as agribusiness and infrastructure, we decided to add in agenda some other fields, which were not discussed earlier and were obscure. This is the so called knowledge based economy and we are talking not only about the IT-outsourcing. These are sometimes much more complicated fields, such as pharmaceuticals, engineering services, plane making and missile production. We’ll discuss those sectors with a significant development potential”, Deputy Minister – Trade representative of Ukraine Nataliya Mykol’ska, told.

During a briefing meeting informational materials and promotional video were presented, prepared especially to the U.S.-Ukraine Business Summit.
