The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine will present tourism opportunities in 11 regions of Ukraine at the exhibition in Lodz

On March 22, representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine at the invitation of the Polish party as honorary partners present the Ukrainian tourism opportunities within the framework of the tourism exhibition “NA STYKU KULTUR” (“At the intersection of cultures”) in Lodz (Poland). The national stand demonstrates tourism products of 11 regions of Ukraine, including Lviv, Chernihiv, Ternopil, Poltava, Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv regions.

Participation of Ukraine in this exhibition became the continuation of the Ukrainian-Polish dialogue launched in Warsaw on March 21 within the framework of the meeting of the Working Group on Tourism, during which the parties discussed relevant issues and identified the perspective directions of cooperation.

Director of the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Oksana Serdiuk emphasized the growing role of tourism in establishing the humanitarian ties between two nations and emphasized the importance of the development of cultural tourism among participants of the negotiations. “Ukraine and the Republic of Poland have common cultural heritage, in particular, the UNESCO World Heritage facilities – wooden churches of the Carpathian region are a bright example”, said Oksana Serdiuk.

The Lodz exhibition is one of the most visited exhibitions in the field of tourism in Poland, the main idea of which is the combination of cultures and the demonstration of their affinity. The Ukrainian stand this year gives the visitors a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the various tourism destinations and cultural peculiarities of the regions of Ukraine, to enjoy the performances of Ukrainian folk vocal and instrumental groups from Ternopil, Chernihiv and Poltava regions, as well as to see and touch the products of folk art of the regions of Ukraine.
