Main tasks of the department include:
conducting antidumping, anti-subsidy and special investigations, as well as investigations in order to establish facts of discriminatory and/or unfriendly actions by other states, customs unions or economic groups regarding legitimate rights and interests of foreign economic entities of Ukraine;
taking measures to protect interests of business entities of Ukraine in antidumping, anti-subsidy and special protection investigations conducted by foreign countries regarding Ukrainian products;
ensuring the protection of rights and interests of Ukraine in trade and economic area within the framework of the WTO and international treaties of Ukraine; taking measures to resolve trade disputes in trade and economic area within the framework of the WTO, as well as international treaties of Ukraine;
detecting actual or threatening application by foreign authorities, customs unions or economic groups of antidumping, compensatory and special protective measures to goods originating from Ukraine;
technical and organizational support of the work of the Inter-Agency Commission for International Trade.
