First Made in Ukraine office to support micro and small businesses opened in Sumy
Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, opened the first Made in Ukraine office in Sumy to support micro and small businesses. These offices will provide entrepreneurs with guidance on participating in government programs under the Made in Ukraine policy.

In order to become an economically self-sufficient state and not depend on the situation in foreign markets and geopolitical changes, the Government prioritized support for the national producer, increasing non-raw materials exports and attracting investments in the real sector. The development of these areas is a direct contribution to the country’s defense capability and part of the Made in Ukraine national policy.

Ukraine expands tools for copyright protection on the Internet
Opportunities for copyright protection in the Internet space have been expanded. Ukraine has joined a number of countries that will be filling the WIPO ALERT platform to counteract the operation of websites that infringe intellectual property rights. On 21 March 2024, the Ministry of Economy adopted an order approving the procedure for the formation and maintenance of a national list of websites that raise concerns about the observance of intellectual property rights.

This was discussed during a meeting between Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, and Ebba Busch, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy, Business and Industry of Sweden.
