Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to consider options to support Ukrainian business, - Yuliia Svyrydenko Ukraine and Japan discussed options for providing additional assistance in humanitarian demining, preparing public-private partnership projects, implementing grant programmes for small and medium-sized businesses, and restoring the Ukrainian economy. Japanese partners are actively involved in these efforts. This was discussed during a meeting between First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko and President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Akihiko Tanaka and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Matsuda Kuninori. -

Ukraine to receive at least 10 humanitarian mine clearance vehicles by end of year thanks to Korea’s support Humanitarian demining is among the priority areas of the Government of the Republic of Korea’s assistance to Ukraine. Smallholder land demining project initiated by international institutions to accelerate the clearance of Ukraine’s territory – Yuliia Svyrydenko Ukraine is interested in increasing the number of humanitarian demining programs initiated by international institutions and expanding existing ones. In particular, the joint project of the UN World Food Programme (WFP), the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and the Fondation Suisse de Déminage (FSD) to clear smallholders’ land and support agricultural producers should be expanded. This was stated by First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko at an online meeting with Cindy McCain, Executive Director of the UN World Food Programme.
