Ukraine has officially accepted the WTO Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies On Thursday, August 17, 2023, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, handed over the instrument on Ukraine’s acceptance of the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies to Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO). Thus, Ukraine joined the ranks of WTO members who adopted this historic Agreement aimed at the development of sustainable fisheries.
