Ukraine has officially accepted the WTO Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies On Thursday, August 17, 2023, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, handed over the instrument on Ukraine’s acceptance of the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies to Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO). Thus, Ukraine joined the ranks of WTO members who adopted this historic Agreement aimed at the development of sustainable fisheries. -

Funding for the eOselia programme increased: at least 10,000 families will benefit from preferential mortgages by end of year eOselia affordable mortgage programme has received full funding for this year. According to Ukrfinzhytlo, at least 10,000 Ukrainian families will be able to receive a preferential mortgage by the end of the year. Therefore, those Ukrainians who have been denied a loan due to lack of funding are advised to reapply in Diia.

The Government transferred 30 state-owned enterprises to the State Property Fund for further privatisation or liquidation On 11 August, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to transfer 30 unified property complexes of state-owned enterprises, institutions and organisations to the State Property Fund of Ukraine.
