Strengthening women’s leadership is one of the important components of the mission of the Ministry of Economy. Despite the war and stereotypes, Ukrainian women are making every effort to ensure a normal life. They make an invaluable contribution to our struggle: they create jobs, pay taxes, and thus ensure our defence. They are ordinary Ukrainian women who do extraordinary things. This opinion was expressed by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, during the ‘Women’s Lives in Ukraine during the War’ event organised by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on 7 March. -

More than 14,000 entrepreneurs have received grants to start or develop their businesses under the Government’s eRobota project. In total, the state has invested UAH 7.1 billion in entrepreneurship through grants since the start of the project. This was announced by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine. -

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI) are deepening cooperation in the areas of investment attraction, support for Ukrainian entrepreneurship and humanitarian demining. This was discussed during a meeting between Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, and Sanna Marin, former Prime Minister of Finland and now Strategic Counsellor for political leadership reform programmes at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI). -
