Last week, businesses received UAH 1.6 billion in affordable loans
06.12.2022 | 15:35 | Section for Public and Mass Media RelationsLast week, more than 370 entrepreneurs received loans under the “Affordable loans 5-7-9%” government program for a total of UAH 1.6 billion. Since the start of the program (February 2020), banks have issued 51.2 thousand loans worth UAH 158 billion to businesses.
Entrepreneurs took the most anti-crisis loans for a total of UAH 61 billion, and UAH 28.6 billion to refinance previously received loans. In addition, UAH 30.5 billion was issued for anti-war purposes, UAH 10.8 billion for investment purposes. Farmers received UAH 25.7 billion in loans to support their activities, while trading companies received UAH 1.2 billion in loans to replenish working capital.
The companies operating in the following fields get loans most often:
- agriculture (53%);
- trade and production (24%);
- industrial processing (14%).
Among the regions, the Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kyiv, Vinnytsia regions and the city of Kyiv are the leaders in terms of the amounts of concluded loan agreements.
Today, 44 banks participate in the program, with the largest number of loans issued by Privatbank (21.2 thousand), Oschadbank (7.6 thousand) and Raiffeisen Bank Aval (4.9 thousand).
We remind you that the “Affordable loans 5-7-9%” government program allows attracting up to UAH 60 million at 0% for the period of wartime +1 month. Credit funds in the amount of up to UAH 1 billion at 5% per annum are available for retail trade chains, which enables them to pay suppliers on time and replenish their financial balances.
The Government also recently extended the program of affordable loans to the companies destroyed as a result of hostilities. Entrepreneurs will be able to get a loan for the restoration of production facilities at 9% for up to 5 years in the amount of up to UAH 60 million.

eRobota: The state invested over UAH 7.3 billion through grants in business development
Almost 15,000 entrepreneurs received grants to start or develop a business under the Government’s eRobota project. In general, the state has invested UAH 7.3 billion in entrepreneurship through grants since the start of the project. The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM), a part of the UN system, have signed a cooperation agreement. Establishment of Business Advisory Council under the Multi-agency Donor Coordination Platform will help attract support for the private sector: Yuliia Svyrydenko
First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko called on partners to step up efforts to attract investments to Ukraine and support the private sector during the 9th meeting of the Steering Committee of the Multi-agency Donor Coordination Platform for Ukraine.
