According to the results of the eRobota government project, 1,115 winners, who will receive grants from the state for establishing and developing business, have been determined. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Tetiana Berezhna on the air of the National Telethon Edyny Novyny on September 4.
“In total, 10,116 participants applied for various grant programs of the eRobota project, and today we have 1,115 winners. Vlasna Sprava program, for which 9,000 Ukrainians seeking to start or expand their business applied for a grant is the most popular. 1,038 applications of them are successful, the total amount that will be paid by the state for them is UAH 240 million,” Tetiana Berezhna said.
She also noted that the funds have already been transferred to the winners who opened bank accounts and signed an agreement on receiving a micro-grant - these are 227 people for a total amount of UAH 52.7 million, and they may already use them to start or develop their own business. In the near future, another 157 winners of the first wave will receive money into their accounts for a total of UAH 36.6 million. Today, on September 5, the 6th wave of applications for grants under Vlasna Sprava program will start.
The most popular types of economic activity of the successful applicants of the four waves are wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles - 26% of successful applications, processing industry - 22%, temporary accommodation and catering - 12%, provision of other types of services - 7%, professional, scientific and technical activity - 6%.
Residents of Kyiv (16%), Kyiv (10%), Dnipropetrovsk (8%), Poltava (8%), Lviv (7%), Rivne (7%) oblasts are the most active and successful in submitting applications.
We will remind you that the eRobota project includes 6 grant programs aimed at stimulating entrepreneurial activity. In particular, these are programs of micro-grants for opening or developing one’s own business, grants for establishing and developing processing enterprises, planting a garden and viticulture, greenhouse farming, support for IT startups and starting in the IT sphere.
The implementation of government grant programs of the eRobota project will enable creating more than 300,000 new jobs in Ukraine.
