On 7 May, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a draft law on the ratification of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and the Republic of Turkey. Today’s decision creates the basis for completing domestic procedures for the entry into force of the Agreement. The next step is to submit the draft law for ratification by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. -

The Government has earmarked at least UAH 1.45 billion for Khmelnytskyi region businesses in the state budget for 2024 as part of the Made in Ukraine policy. These funds will be used for three key policy areas: production development, stimulating non-resource exports, and attracting investment in the real sector. It is about financing business support programmes. This was stated by First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko during the presentation of the Made in Ukraine policy in Khmelnytskyi chaired by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and a meeting with local business. -

Companies that manufacture drones will have an opportunity to receive a grant from the state in the amount of 80% of the cost of the submitted project. The preferential regime for granting funds to such manufacturers will be valid throughout the entire controlled territory of Ukraine. The Government supported the decision at a meeting on 3 May 2024. -

In each of the priority sectors, we have specific projects that we are ready to offer to foreign investors and we do so consistently. We are already seeing not just interest, but real investments. According to the National Bank, foreign investors injected USD 4.25 billion into Ukraine's economy last year. This shows that despite the war, it is possible to make money and develop successful businesses in Ukraine. This was stated by Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy –Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, in her speech at Kyiv Investment Day on May 1.
