According to preliminary data, in March 2024, Ukraine exported goods worth USD 3.2 billion. The total volume of exported domestic products amounted to 11.8 million tonnes. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko.

“In the first quarter of 2024, Ukrainian exports remained at a relatively stable level, approaching the level of January 2022, the month before the large-scale invasion. In physical terms, this is about 12 million tonnes, and in monetary terms, it is more than USD 3 billion per month. In March, preliminarily, we exported 11.8 million tonnes of goods worth USD 3.2 billion,” Yuliia Svyrydenko noted.

As a reminder, increasing non-resource exports through market access and export financing is one of the three key areas of the Made in Ukraine policy.

On 1 March, during a visit to the UK by the Ukrainian delegation headed by First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko, it was announced that the UNITY affordable ship insurance programme, implemented by Marsh McLennan and Lloyd’s of London in cooperation with the Government of Ukraine, would be expanded. The programme will cover not only the maritime transport of grain and other essential foodstuffs, but also vessels carrying all non-military cargo, including containerised cargo.
