Ministry of Economy of Ukraine

Main tasks of the department include:

participation in the development of the proposals and improvement of adopted decisions on the formation and implementation of a single state foreign economic and trade policy;

implementation of the National Export Strategy;

development and implementation of the measures aimed at the creation of favorable environment for development of innovations and export competitiveness, in particular strengthening of the institutional network, innovation capacity, creation of the conditions for the promotion of innovations and ensuring the sustainable business development in accordance with the National Export Strategy;

ensuring the implementation of mechanisms and measures aimed at the exit of Ukrainian exporters into new promising markets, expansion of existing markets for Ukrainian exports and stimulation of export of domestic producers to world markets;

organization and coordination of the work of the Council for International Trade at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and its working groups;

making proposals for the formation and implementation of state policy in the area of exhibition and fair activity;

participation in the preparation and maintenance of the work of national exhibitions of Ukraine at world and international exhibitions and fairs;

continuous monitoring and analysis of the current condition of foreign trade and determining the factors of its development;

analysis of the efficiency of export and import of goods (works, services) and preparing the proposals for the development and improvement of the structure of export and import of goods (works, services), development of recommendations for respective sectors of economy subject to market developments in the world market.
