Main task of the department is to provide the executives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine with unprejudiced and independent conclusions and recommendations regarding:

operation of the internal control system and improvement thereof;

improvement of management system;

prevention of illicit inefficient and ineffective use of budgetary funds and other assets;

prevention of mistakes or other shortcomings in the activities of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, as well as enterprises, institutions and organizations accountable thereto.
